I used to work part-time for a big online firm in Singapore a long time ago. I worked there for six years, first as a developer, moving up to general manager, and then becoming a product manager. I gained a lot of knowledge. Of course, what I discovered there does not necessarily reflect web development as a whole. What I did learn, though, is the value of a robust digital ecosystem, the advantages and disadvantages of web technology, and what businesses can do to ensure that the web is still relevant in the future. Later, I'll go into greater depth. I really believe web developers and businesses need to do more to launch mobile apps and make them engaging, user-friendly, and interactive.
