Lotus flowers are sacred to Buddhists and signify enlightenment because the lotus flower can bloom superbly above murky or muddy water.
All I know, is each time I walked by the unique painting on the left, the pink flower on the vase bothered me. I felt prefer it overpowered the flowers.
